Since 2006, RESCo has set the standard for turnkey, expert-level solar photovoltaic (PV) solutions for commercial and industrial clients across Canada. In 2017, we expanded our capabilities to include the design and installation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), strengthening our position as a full-service renewable energy provider.

As a highly regarded consulting engineering firm, RESCo combines in-house engineering expertise with skilled field teams to deliver exceptional electrical work nationwide. Our dedicated workforce is driven by a shared commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability. Every member of the RESCo team receives certified in-house safety training and is continuously educated on the latest industry standards covering quality, environmental stewardship, and technical excellence. This unwavering focus on safety has enabled RESCo to proudly maintain a high safety rating with workers’ compensation boards across Canada.

With more than a decade of experience in renewable energy, RESCo delivers sustainable, long-term solutions that reflect our dedication to responsible business practices and community impact. Through proactive maintenance programs, on-site recycling and material sorting, and the use of electric and hybrid fleet vehicles, we continue to extend the life of our clients’ assets while reducing environmental impact.

Fidel Reijerse, President and Founder of RESCo Energy Inc., has been delivering projects in the green building sector for the past 30 years. His background is in environmental remediation, environmental management systems, eco-efficiency, and greening commercial projects. Fidel was a founding member of the Green Building Information Council and part of an interdisciplinary team that evaluated building labelling programs as part of the groundwork for what later became LEED.

Fidel’s expertise applies environmental design principles to facilities in the private and public sector through government engagement and collaboration with private sector clients in Canada and the U.S. He has overseen the delivery of marquee solar projects from Nova Scotia to British Columbia and has been recognized for his industry leadership by the Canadian Solar Industries Association with both the Industry Leader Award and the President’s Award. He is a Clean50™ Honouree and was recently elected to the CanREA Board of Directors.
